Although an opinion on what is considered an ideal female figure varies across time and culture, there are some universal attributes associated with the perfect woman body. Most of them are applied subconsciously.

In the following article we are going to describe the most important of female characteristics. When woman has most features mentioned below, she is perceived as attractive. Whether your ideal looks like Kim Kardashian or Jennifer Aniston.

Breast size

On the ideal breast size, there is no consensus. Men tend to overestimate the bust size they desire in women and Western civilization in general promotes rather bigger breasts. However physical appeal is frequently judged by a well-balanced size of the bust and hips, along with a noticeably slimmer waist. This is so-called hourglass figure.

In fact, the shape of breasts is more important than their size. As a symbol of youth, firm bust is more desired than saggy. Firm shape is commonly called perky breasts. If woman has smaller cup size, there should be no fold under her breasts (famous ‘pencil test’). However from certain sizes, small fold is inevitable in order to look natural. The bigger the breasts the bigger fold under them is still not considered unattractive. Shape also changes depending on posture of woman.

What escapes most people’s attention is the so-called “breast ratio”. Researchers discovered that the upper half of breast should make 45% of the total breast volume and a lower half 55%. Only while wearing a bra or other supportive lingerie, convex shape is present also on the upper half of breast. Nipples should point upwards at an slight angle of 20 degrees. But these are average values of attractive bust not strict criterias.

Hips and buttocks

The perfect hips are curvy, yet proportionate, with a gentle slope and a smooth transition from the waist to the thighs. They are wide enough to create a beautiful silhouette, but not so wide that they overpower the rest of the body. When viewed from the side, the perfect hips form a gentle “S” curve, creating a sensual and feminine line that is both beautiful and attractive.

Compared to a men, a women should have wider hips and bigger butt to look feminine. Once more, the shape is more important than size. Firm round butt cheeks are perceived sexually attractive. Often mentioned is the so-called “heart shaped ass”.

This means having visible muscle definition, especially the abdominal muscles. Good posture enhances the appearance of the belly. Standing tall with shoulders back and the stomach slightly pulled in can make the midsection look more attractive and defined.

Legs

Long straight legs are perceived as attractive. There were many debates whether there should or shouldn’t be a gap between the thighs, but we are sure that you can find both cases to be attractive. Legs that are proportionate to the rest of the body are also considered attractive. Long legs are frequently idealized in fashion and media.

Perfect legs are often characterized by a combination of tone, definition, proportionate length, and smooth skin. Achieving this look typically involves regular exercise to strengthen and balance the leg muscles, a healthy diet to support overall fitness, and a good skincare routine to maintain smooth and even-toned skin.

Face

A perfect face is often described by harmonious proportions, clear and even-toned skin, and well-defined features. Symmetry is a key aspect, balanced facial features such as evenly spaced eyes, a straight nose, and a proportional forehead and chin. High cheekbones and a well-defined jawline contribute to a striking profile, while expressive eyes enhance overall appeal. Healthy, radiant skin free from blemishes or excessive wrinkles adds to the face’s attractiveness.

The perfect face is often associated with the Golden Ratio (1.618:1), a mathematical proportion believed to create the most aesthetically pleasing and harmonious facial features. This ratio is found in the distance between the eyes, the shape of the nose, the contours of the jawline, and the fullness of the lips.
