Short Bio
Martha was born August 24, 1983 in Villahermosa, Mexico into the family of a therapist and an actress. She pursued acting since she was a child but still managed to be also an extraordinary student and started visiting college at the age of 15.
After starring in several Mexican movies, Higareda got her first role in an American film in 2007. It was called Borderland. Still, she remained famous mostly in Mexico. That changed with her big role in a new Netflix show Altered Carbon in 2018.
