Short Bio
Sonequa was born March 21, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. As a child, Sonequa dreamt of becoming a psychologist but eventually turned her interest towards acting. Martin-green earned her college degree in theatre at the University of Alabama ans started her professional career in 2005.
She appeared in Army Wives, The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time and many more. But it looks like her main role in Star Trek: Discovery is the new height of her career. Sonequa married actor Kenric Green and they relocated from NYC to LA. They have one son named Kenric Justin Green II.
